1988 EG Makes A Close Approach to Earth

1988 EG, a Near-Earth Asteroid discovered by J. Alu during the Palomar program (PCAS, E. Helin et. al.) will be observable in the next few days getting as bright as V = 13.7 magnitude. This approach is the closest known approach of any NEA to the Earth in 1998, about 3 million miles.
