This beta-release data discovery tool, developed at the ASDC, is supported by the Earth Science Technology Office. The Data Discovery Portal enables users to easily discover and explore information about the contents of select data and climate model products. Users can select the parameter-level attributes that characterize the type of data they are looking for and easily compare and contrast the various products that satisfy the selected criteria.

Pursuant to NASA's Strategic Objective 3.3, to provide secure, effective, and affordable information technologies and services that enable NASA’s mission, the Data Discovery Portal aims to provide researchers with critical information about what Earth science phenomena are being measured and/or modeled and how the resulting data are processed, gridded, stored and accessed.
