Welcome to the Polaris Composite Squadron of the Alaska Wing Civil Air Patrol. We are based at Merrill Field in Anchorage, Alaska, just west of the air traffic control tower.

We are a volunteer organization, specializing in aviation missions, including: Search & Rescue, Cadet Programs, and Aerospace Education. We have the resources and personnel to carry out a variety of aerial and land-based missions for a variety of customers, including aerial photography, aerial surveys, and transport of personnel, equipment and supplies.

We are looking for pilot and non-pilot members who share our core values and want to serve their community and state. View the Senior Member Great Start Guide online, and get directions to the squadron to join us for one of our senior member meetings Tuesday nights at 7:00 pm at the Civil Air Patrol hangar at Merrill Field.

Are you between 12 and 18 years of age and looking for a program that will build your knowledge in aviation, help develop you into a leader and give you unique opportunities through strong connections to the Air Force? The cadet program may be for you. Check out the Cadet Great Start Web Site and join us for a cadet meeting Tuesday nights at 6:15 pm at the Civil Air Patrol hangar at Merrill Field.
