The U.S. Department of the Interior is funding the development of the TEEIC through the Assistant Secretary of Indian Affairs' Office of Indian Energy and Economic Development. The information presented is relevant to all energy development activities on tribal lands, whether those activities occur under the authority of a Tribal Energy Resource Agreement (TERA) or under existing regulatory programs for energy resource development on tribal lands. Energy Transmission Corridor Siting Guidance Manual Available The Energy Transport Corridor Siting for Tribal Planners Guidance Manual is now available. This manual describes a process for siting transmission corridors or rights-of-way across tribal lands to facilitate energy development and transmission while reducing associated environmental impacts.
