We encourage you to convene local leaders and spotlight the work VISTAs are doing (and have done) in your community, or choose a differerent event format that works for you.

The Solutions Showcase is an opportunity to share your community designed solutions to poverty - and see how other communities are planning to address poverty in 2015 and beyond. You can submit photos and videos, highlighting the process of refining and implementing community - based solutions to poverty. The Showcase will help raise public awareness of AmeriCorps VISTA, stimulate broader and deeper thinking about U.S. poverty, inspire others to serve, and showcase solutions generated throughout this anniversary year.
Our 50th anniversary year will culminate in a showcase event on December 3, 2015 in Austin, TX. To get involved with this landmark event at the LBJ Library in Austin, please contact TX@cns.gov.
With your help, AmeriCorps VISTA can create even more innovative, effective programming in the future. Your contribution will be used to support VISTA members and the communities they serve.
