Form D-4 - Complaint for Violation of the Campaign Disclosure Act
Date: 9/8/2016
Description: Any campaign disclosure complaint dealing with a candidate or question of public policy appearing on the November 8 General Election Ballot and received by the Board by Friday, October 7th, will be brought to the Board for consideration at the October 18th Board meeting. Any campaign disclosure complaint received by the Board between Tuesday, October 11th and Thursday, October 27th will be brought to the Board for consideration at a special Board meeting to be held prior to the election (date to be determined). Any campaign disclosure complaint received by the Board after Thursday, October 27th will be brought to the Board for consideration at the Monday, November 21st Board meeting.

In addition, any such complaint filed prior to October 28th must be personally served (not just mailed) upon all respondents prior to the time the complaint is filed with the Board, and the proof of service on the back of the D-4 Form must indicate that it has been so served. Complaints not having been personally served or lacking the requisite proof of service will be deemed to have been filed after October 27th and will not be heard by the Board until the November 21st meeting at the earliest.
