Conservancy Mission Statement

The Baldwin Hills Conservancy's mission is to acquire open space and manage public lands within the Baldwin Hills area and to provide recreation, restoration and protection of wildlife habitat within the territory for the public's enjoyment and educational experience.

Park to Playa Segment C

The Park to Playa Regional Trail will be 13-miles connecting the Baldwin Hills Parklands to the Pacific Ocean and is being constructed in phases. 'Segment C' of the trail is completing the design phase and will be constructed last. Segment C will connect Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area with the Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook.

The Baldwin Hills Regional Conservation Authority (BHRCA) has completed an Initial Study and Mitigated Negative Declaration (IS/MND) for Segment C of the Park to Playa Trail and intends to adopt the revised Mitigated Negative Declaration.

Public Comment Period: August 30, 2016 to September 28, 2016.
