What's New

Welcome to the home page of the GIS Laboratory (GISLab). We are dedicated to excellence in Geographical Information System (GIS) science and technology at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL). Our mission is three-fold:

• to provide intellectual leadership concerning GIS science and technology;
• to conduct basic and applied GIS research;
• to provide GIS services for LANL projects and operations.

We are part of the LANL Environmental Geology and Spatial Analysis Group, EES-9. GISLab is located at TA-3 (LANL users see map).

As part of GISLab's commitment to excellence in research and sharing of knowledge, we have instituted a GIS Colloquium Series. Please peruse our past and upcoming colloquia and join us in welcoming our guests on alternating Tuesdays.
