*The Technology Management Branch is often referred to as the MCI-NCR MITSC

  1. MISSION: The MCI-NCR MITSC directly supports the Assistant Chief of Staff, G6, Marine Corps National Capitol Region in the management of all regionally controlled operational Information Technology processes, services, incidents and events. Activities within the MITSC’s technical control are Marine Corps Combat Development Command (MCCDC), MCB Quantico, Expeditionary Fighting Vehicle (EFV) in Woodbridge, VA , the Chemical Biological Incident Response Force (CBIRF) in Indian Head, MD, 4th LAR and Charlie Co, Intel Support Battalion. The MCI-NCR MITSC responds to NetOps tasking from the MCI-NCR RNOSC.
  2. The MCI-NCR Regional Network Operations and Security Center (RNOSC) performs regional systems overview, Computer Network Defense (CND) and Network Operations (NetOps) tasking to subordinate MITSC within the NCR. These MITSC’s include both MCI-NCR and HQMC. The RNOSC reports directly to the Enterprise Network Operations and Security Center (ENOSC) located at the Marine Corps Network Operations and Security Center (MCNOSC) on all NetOps taskings.
  3. OPERATION: The MCI-NCR MITSC is comprised of administrative staff and five operational sections including: Network Operations, Regional Services Management, Systems Development, Customer Service, and Information Security. The Head, MCI-NCR MITSC also serves in a RNOSC staff billet advising the AC/S, G6 MCNCR and identifies IT issues requiring technical review or assistance to the ENOSC.
