Electrical Systems Branch

Electrical Systems Branch

The Electrical Systems Branch provides discipline engineering in all vehicle electrical systems (e.g., Instrumentation, RF Sytems, Batteries, Power Distribution, FTS Systems, Ordnance Initiation Systems, EGSE, Spacecraft Interfaces). The branch is responsible for maintaining cognizance of vehicle production history, contractors’ fleet status and any issues that may affect vehicles assigned to NASA missions. The branch works with the site resident offices to accomplish hardware readiness reviews. When, necessary, this branch assigns a project engineer to manage technical, cost and schedule requirements, and implementation by the launch service provider for NASA funded launch vehicle upgrades.
