Vision: The vision of the California Natural Resources Agency Project Management and Oversight Office (Agency PMO) is to support the achievement of CNRA's collective departmental strategic business goals and objectives through successful implementation of technology enablers.

Mission: To provide leadership in project management, delivering successful technology solutions using a Project Management (PM) framework and project governance structure that comply with State-wide policies.

Purpose: The purpose of the Agency PMO is to provide leadership and expertise in the management and successful delivery of large, complex technology projects by partnering with CNRA departments to achieve business objectives. The Agency PMO will also incorporate an oversight function to ensure projects succeed and deliver high quality results, on time and within budget, using established best practices. This will encourage collaboration, consistency and overall improvement in technology solution implementations and comply with the State's IT Project Oversight Framework. The Agency PMO will also establish and manage an enterprise-wide portfolio that identifies, prioritizes and monitors technology initiatives across CNRA.
