Build a New Mission System

The AMMOS Catalog provides a quick and easy way to explore and learn about AMMOS components to support your mission. If this is your first visit to the catalog we suggest you start by reviewing How to Use the AMMOS Catalog.
While Login is not required to simply Browse the Catalog - the real power of the AMMOS Catalog is as an aid in preparing mission and experiment proposals, as well those in the early stages of project planning - so we also allow users to Build a Mission System by selecting and saving AMMOS components they are interested in. Using the catalog in this way requires you to have an account and some initial configuration of the mission(s) you wish to design:
  • LOGIN (prompt in upper right of screen). Please Request an account if you do not already have a JPL ID (Mission Interface Office (MIO))
  • Next go to Manage My Mission Systems to name your mission(s) and identify simple mission criteria. Or return to Manage My Mission Systems to rename or create additional mission designs
  • After this initial set up, simply LOGIN (prompt upper right) next time you visit AMMOS to immediately browse, select and/or modify your mission components
