For the 114th Congress, Congressman Flores will serve as Chairman of the Republican Study Committee (RSC). The RSC is an influential group of House Republicans organized for the purpose of advancing a conservative economic and social agenda in the House of Representatives.

The Republican Study Committee's American Health Care Reform Act completely repeals Obamacare and replaces it with a patient-centered, free market system. It is a bold plan that will lower costs, expand access, encourage innovation and put patients back in the driver’s seat of their own health care decisions.

The House- Senate Conference Committee on S. 2012, the Energy Policy Modernization Act convened on Thursday, September 8, 2016. This energy bill will help lay the groundwork to bring energy policy into the 21st century.

On July, 8, 2016, the U.S. House of Representatives held a moment of silence, led by Representative Eddie Bernice Johnson, for the victims of the attack in Dallas.

Congressman Flores speaks on the House floor in support of the of Ozone Standards Implementation Act, which harmonizes the EPA’s conflicting ozone regulations and provides for a more efficient implementation process while still protecting public health.

On Memorial Day, we remember the service of those brave military men and women who paid the ultimate sacrifice defending and protecting our freedoms.
