LINCOLN, Neb. (Oct. 24, 2016)— The tales shared by travelers on NebraskaPassport.com tell a story of an exciting summer for the participants of the 2016 Nebraska Passport program. Some saying, “We never knew that there were this many wonderful places to visit,” and “Lots of miles, lots of fun.” This year 168 participants submitted Passports with all 80 stops stamped, that number is more than double the amount Nebraska Tourism received in 2015.
Gering, Neb. (Oct. 20, 2015)—Nebraska’s tourism industry professionals honored their peers at the Celebrate Nebraska Awards Luncheon Thursday afternoon at the Gering Civic Center in Gering, Nebraska. The event capped the annual Nebraska Tourism Conference organized by the Nebraska Tourism Commission and hosted by the Gering Convention and Visitors Bureau. Congressman Adrian Smith of Gering and Nebraska Tourism Commission Chair Deb Loseke announced the following 2016 Nebraska Travel Industry Award winners.
LINCOLN, Neb. (October 19, 2016)— Nebraska Tourism’s fourth Nebraska Tourism Serves project will take place in Bladen, Nebraska, November 4 and 5. Nebraska Tourism Serves brings volunteers together to celebrate and restore beloved tourist destinations in our state.

LINCOLN, Neb. (September 26, 2016)—Parts of western Nebraska will step into the national spotlight September 27- October 2, as the state plays host to a group of 20 journalists writing for international, national and regional media outlets. This will be the fifteenth media tour sponsored by the Nebraska Tourism Commission. The tours are designed to show selected media outlets what Nebraska has to offer visitors in various regions of the state.

“Nebraska Tourism’s Wide Open Imagination Zone presents an interactive area that showcases tourism opportunities. Folks can stop by to discover all the cool and exciting activities our state has to offer and pick up a copy of the new Official Fall/Winter Nebraska Travel Guide, to start planning their next vacation,” said Karen Kollars with Nebraska Tourism.

LINCOLN, Neb. (August 9, 2016) — The Official 2016 Fall/Winter Nebraska Travel Guide is now available to those looking to explore the state. This is the first time, the Nebraska Tourism Commission has produced a Fall/Winter Travel Guide, allowing the publication to provide more date targeted opportunities and show out-of-state tourists that Nebraska is nice, year round.
