State Police Request Help Resolving the Death Investigation of Mary Ethel Dickens - Body discovered on October 2, 1986. Victim was reported missing on July 8, 1986.

Victim: Mary Ethel Dickens, White Female, 23 years of age.

Location: Lower River Road, 2 1/2 miles West of Owensboro, Daviess County, Kentucky.

On Thursday, October 2, 1986, a decomposed body of a white female was located in a cornfield West of Owensboro. It is believed that victim was murdered, but due to the condition of the body a definite cause of death could not be determined. As of this date case is still pending.

Detectives are requesting help from the community or anyone who might have information on the Death Investigation of Mary Ethel Dickens. Anyone with information can contact the case officers Sgt.
