Welcome to North Dakota's Statewide Longitudinal Data System (ND SLDS) website.
ND SLDS is a cooperative project among the following North Dakota entities and agencies:
- Information Technology Department
- Department of Public Instruction
- North Dakota University System
- Department of Commerce
- Department of Career and Technical Education
- Job Service ND
- Education Technology Council
- Department of Health
- Department of Human Services
The purpose of this project is to design, develop, and implement a P-20 longitudinal data system. The data and analysis made accessible through this system will help educators and policymakers answer a range of program and policy questions to gauge the effectiveness of programs and design targeted improvement strategies.
ND SLDS will collect data from multiple entities, via multiple data sources/data warehouses. There are currently other projects in progress to build these data sources, e.g., the K-12 domain of the SLDS. No personally-identifiable data will be public, in compliance with all state and federal laws.
Information about the K-12 domain of the SLDS can be viewed here.
