Nineteen Firefighters Graduate from Fire Training Academy

19 FTA Graduates

State Fire Marshal Charles M. Duffy announced that 19 firefighters have graduated from the Washington State Fire Training Academy in North Bend, Washington. Graduation was held on Sunday, November 6th, 2016, in Snoqualmie, Washington.

On August 13, 2016, the 19 firefighter recruits listed below began an 11-week Recruit Academy that meets National Fire Protection Association 1001 and 472 Standards for Firefighter Professional Qualifications at the Firefighter I, Hazardous Materials Awareness and Operations Levels. Graduating firefighters have learned basic fire service principles through classroom instruction and rigorous hands-on live fire training.
