Security Features
The system provides state of the art security features to maintain strict confidentiality of personal payroll information.

Application security -
Payline requires a user id and password for system access.

SSL -
Secure Socket Layer - uses a 128-bit encryption routine to protect data as it moves back and forth
across the internet. This technology is used widely by financial institutions to provide a high level
of protection.

ECC -
Elliptic Curve Cryptograph - a server-based technology to protect sensitive data and to prevent
unauthorized server access.
Access Requirements

Browser -
Internet Explorer, Firefox or Netscape, Ver. 4.0 or higher. Enabled for Java Script, Cookies and Secure Socket
Layer (SSL) Security (128-bit Version).

Connection -
When connecting to the site from behind a firewall or proxy server, it must allow SSL (port 443) connection.

Screen Resolution -
800x600 or greater, with a minimum of 256 colors.

Modem Speed -
Connection speed of 56K or higher is recommended.
Passwords and Other Data
Many Web browsers store information, such as account numbers, passwords and website addresses, to help make it easier to
provide this information when you revisit a website. You can adjust your browser’s settings to delete stored information
or prevent the browser from saving additional data.
Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.x and 8.x (Windows)
- Under the Tools menu at the top of your browser select Internet Options.
- Click the Content tab.
- Next to AutoComplete, click Settings.

To prevent AutoComplete from saving future entries, make sure the applicable boxes are unchecked for:
- Web addresses - will no longer save website entries
- Forms - will no longer save website entries and account numbers
- User names and passwords on forms - will no longer save entered names and passwords
- Prompt me to save passwords - may automatically uncheck after you uncheck "User names and passwords on forms"
- To delete stored information, click the General tab. Then, next to Browsing history click Delete.
- Next to Form data, click Delete forms and/or next to Passwords, click Delete passwords.
- Once your selections are made, click OK.
Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.x (Windows)
- In the top navigation menu, select Tools.
- Click Internet Options.
- Select the Content tab, and click AutoComplete.

- Web addresses - will no longer save website entries
- Forms - will no longer save website entries and account numbers
- User names and passwords on forms - will no longer save entered names and passwords
- Prompt me to save passwords - may automatically uncheck after you uncheck "User names and passwords on forms"

To delete stored information, click either of the two buttons shown:
- Clear Forms - will delete saved website entries and account numbers
- Clear Passwords - will delete saved passwords
- Once your selections are made, click OK.
Mozilla Firefox 3.x (Windows)
- Select Options from the Tools drop-down menu at the top of the page.
- Click the Privacy icon.
- Under History, uncheck the box next to "Remember what I enter in forms and the search bar."
- Click the Security icon.
- If you don’t want your browser to store any website passwords, uncheck the box next to "Remember passwords for sites" (under Passwords).
- If you would like your browser to store some passwords, check the "Remember passwords for sites" box.
Then click the Exceptions button to add Web addresses you wish to exempt.
- Click OK.
Safari 3.x (Macintosh)
- Select Preferences from the Safari drop-down menu.
- Select the AutoFill section from the options at the top of the pop-up page.
- Under "AutoFill Web Forms", click the Edit button next to "User names and passwords."
- Select the website addresses you wish to remove. Or click the Remove All button.
- Click Done.
- Close the AutoFill window.
