Do You Have Unclaimed Property?
It is the mission of the Wyoming State Treasurer’s Office to return unclaimed property to its rightful owner or heirs. Each year, businesses and government agencies also known as “holders” report unclaimed property to the state. Unclaimed property includes but is not limited to savings and checking accounts, mineral proceeds, unpaid wages or commissions, stocks, dividends, utility deposits, insurance proceeds and money orders. The Unclaimed Property Division attempts to reunite owners or heirs with their lost assets. There is no charge to the owner or time limit to claim the funds.
