The Board’s rules governing physician assistants were last amended in 1998. The Board recognizes the need to update these rules and plans to do so as soon as possible. Although some inconsistencies exist between the rules and the Arizona Revised Statutes governing physician assistants, the Board complies with statute, particularly but not exclusively with regard to timeframes for appeals.
