The Lunar Education Alliance Project (LEAP) was designed to expose American students to a variety of aerospace systems engineering themes based on Lunar Micro-Rover (LMR) technology. The premise couples key engineering challenges with NASA technology and the science of system integration. These technologies coupled with NASA's foundation in space exploration generate compelling themes to inspire, engage and educate k-12 students.
This project is designed to leverage the NASA Robotic Alliance Project (RAP), The Lunar Micro-Rover (LMR) Project, and NASA's most advanced Educational Opportunities. The principle contributions of this alliance are the innovative intellectual technologies that define American Robotics as applied to aerospace.
