2016 Dental Hygiene Renewal Information

The time to renew your Dental Hygiene license has begun. If you do not renew your license before January 1, 2017, a Reinstatement Application must be submitted, and pay the following fees:

  • January 1-15th - $240
  • January 16-31st - $370
  • On or after February 1st - $630

Dental Renewal Period Has Closed

The time to renew your license to practice dentistry has expired. If you failed to renew your license by 12/31/15, as required by law, you must submit a Reinstatement Application and pay the following fees:

  • Jan. 1-15th = $575
  • Jan. 16-31st = $855
  • On/After Feb. 1st = $1,415

Practicing dentistry with an expired license is a violation of the Kentucky Dental Practice Act (KRS Chapter 313).

The Kentucky Board of Dentistry is an agency governed by the Commonwealth of Kentucky. The Board is a separate and distinct entity from any professional association. The main purpose of the Board is to protect the public by administering the Dental Practice Act and regulating the dental profession. The Board is self-supporting and receives no general tax appropriation. It is funded through fees assessed for licensing its dental professionals.
