This website will provide general information on health insurance and the new health insurance exchanges. Throughout the year, the Department will hold informational sessions and answer questions about Nebraska's federally facilitated marketplace.

Individuals and Families
Individuals or families in Nebraska may use Healthcare.gov to apply for coverage, compare plans, and enroll. Open enrollment begins on November 1, 2016 and runs until January 31, 2017. Coverage can start on January 1, 2017 if the policy is purchased by December 15, 2016.
Small Business
Small businesses in Nebraska will use the Small Business Health Options Program (SHOP) on HealthCare.gov to buy high-quality health insurance for your employees.
