In December 2015, the Helena and the Lewis and Clark National Forests consolidated, and are now known as one combined forest: Helena-Lewis and Clark National Forest. To help be more efficient and minimize confusion, we are consolidating our forest websites.

Helena National Forest Projects
Need some help finding the Forest's "Projects" page? Current forest project documents and maps can be found on the Projects page. To get there, click on the "Land and Resource Management" link in the left-hand column, then click on "Projects" and then find and click on the specific project in that list.

 How we manage our national forests impacts how future generations will enjoy their public lands! We want to know what our Montana Youth have to say about our Forest Plan Revision process and proposals.  Every Kid in a Park
Every Kid in a Park (“Every Kid”) is a nationwide call to action to inspire every young person across the country to visit our national parks, forests, public lands and waters. All fourth graders are eligible to receive a pass that allows free access to federal lands and waters across the country for a full school year!
