ADOA-ASET Announces Health Information Exchange Enterprise Grant Program
The Department of Administration's Arizona Strategic Enterprise Technology Office (ADOA-ASET) launched a NEW grant funding opportunity to accelerate health information exchange (HIE) for large health care organizations that are creating, developing, or maturing enterprise-wide health information exchange capabilities in Arizona. The new HIE Enterprise grant targets organizational HIE's to support acceleration of connecting providers within their own networks.
Highlights of HIE Enterprise Grant Program
Total amount of funding available for distribution is up to $1 million dollars.
Award amounts are expected to be up to $200,000 per award.
Period of performance of the grant is six (6) months – July 2013 to December 2013.
Matching requirements of cash or in-kind of at least 50% of the grant award are required.
The target for this grant program are healthcare organizations that are creating, developing or maturing enterprise wide health information exchange capabilities in Arizona.
Grant applications are due to ADOA-ASET by Friday, June 7, 2013.
