The State of CT African-American Affairs Commission will host its Annual Classic Awards Gala on Friday, May 13, 2016 at 7:00 PM in the Legislative Office Building in Hartford.  We come together to honor men, women and youth who have made significant contributions to the state of Connecticut. The State of Connecticut African-American Affairs Commission (AAAC) is pleased to submit its 2015 Annual Report. The mission of the Commission is to improve and promote the economic development, education, health and political well-being of the African-American community in the State of Connecticut through advocacy, information sharing, cultural awareness, community networking and influencing legislation.
