Our Mission



The mission of the African-American Affairs Commission (AAAC) is to improve and promote the economic development, education, health and political well-being of the African-American community in the State of Connecticut.

The AAAC accomplishes these goals through information sharing, promoting cultural awareness, community networking, and legislation. [more]

    AAAC CLASSIC AWARDS - MAY 13, 2016

 

The State of CT African-American Affairs Commission will host its Annual Classic Awards Gala on Friday, May 13, 2016 at 7:00 PM in the Legislative Office Building in Hartford.  We come together to honor men, women and youth who have made significant contributions to the state of Connecticut. We hope that you will join us.
