The SAMHSA Buprenorphine Clinical Discussion WebBoard is a moderated password-protected Web site in which physicians holding waivers from SAMHSA under the authority of the Drug Addiction Treatment Act of 2000 (DATA 2000) can ask and answer clinical questions regarding the use of buprenorphine for the treatment of opioid addiction. If you are a physician with a DATA waiver and have registered for the board, you may log-in at the bottom of this page to access the site.

If you would like to locate doctors or treatment programs in your area authorized to treat opioid addiction with buprenorphine, please visit the SAMHSA Buprenorphine Physician and Treatment Program Locator Web site at http://www.buprenorphine.samhsa.gov/bwns_locator/index.html.

If you would like to learn more about the use of buprenorphine for the treatment of opioid addiction, or about the DATA 2000 legislation and the process of obtaining a physician waiver, please visit the SAMHSA Buprenorphine Web site at http://buprenorphine.samhsa.gov/.
