07/13/2016 -- U.S. Bankruptcy Judgeship Vacancy - Middle District of Pennsylvania (Harrisburg) Chief Judge Theodore A. McKee of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit announces the application process for a bankruptcy judgeship in the Middle District of Pennsylvania, seated in Harrisburg. Applications must be submitted electronically by Friday, August 12, 2016. To apply, go to www.ca3.uscourts.gov for more information or call the Circuit Executives Office at 215-597-0718. 06/29/2016 -- New Court sponsored Self-Help Program for self-represented people filing bankruptcy or considering filing is now available. First free appointments may be scheduled with a volunteer attorney starting the week of July 11th. Program designed with minimal sign up process. 06/01/2016 -- The Local Rules and Forms of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania were amended effective June 1, 2016. The Miscellaneous Order entered by the Court is available here. Please see the Local Rules and Orders webpage for the amended rules and forms.
