InterLab 2005 was held in mid-December, 2005, at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in Richland, Washington. The 2005 conference was the latest in a series that dates back to 1994. As in previous years, the conference program offered a combination of guest speakers and technical presentations by the participants, as well as many opportunities for networking with peers.

InterLab is aimed at webmasters, website developers, web application developers, web graphic designers, web systems administrators, and managers of internet resources throughout the DOE complex. With the advent of the 2005 conference, greater emphasis was placed on systems administration and graphic design components of web publishing. Attendance is limited to the DOE community; others may attend by invitation.
