ATTENTION

This message is to inform the Army IE&E; community of upcoming changes to Army Mapper affecting those who currently use the system to view installation geospatial data. Failing hardware combined with the pending completion of the Army's geospatial data migration to the new SDSFIE 3.1 Army Adaptation has led to an OACSIM decision to shut down Army Mapper Web Map Viewer, currently slated 31-May-2016.

For those organizations that receive and rely on web services from Army Mapper, these services will continue to be provided until replacement services are made available. Replacement services will leverage SDSFIE 3.1 Army Adaptation compliant data for all installation geospatial data housed in the HQDA geospatial data repository. The roll-out of a new Web Map Viewer and web map services is planned for fall, 2016. The new Web Map Viewer will feature an improved user experience.

We apologize in advance for any inconvenience resulting from the shutdown of Army Mapper Web Map Viewer and the fall 2016 release of the new Web Map Viewer.
