The Official Gazette for Patents is published each Tuesday in electronic form only, and contains bibliographic text and a representative drawing from each patent issued that week. Please note that the Official Gazette Notices are also included in each issue.
The Official Gazette for Patents is available online for the most recent 52 issues. It may be browsed by classification or type of patent, for example, utility, design, and plant. Specific patents may be accessed by class/subclass or patentee name. For each patent displayed, you may click the "Full Text" button in the upper left corner to retrieve the full text of the patent from the USPTO Full Text database. See usage notes within each issue or refer to the Frequently Asked Questions for additional information.
On September 7, 2016 the 52 weekly issues published here were moved to a new URL: patentsgazette.uspto.gov. This page will remain the main index page for those issues (and is the "home page" for patentsgazette). However, the actual Official Gazette content will go to URLs like http://patentsgazette.uspto.gov/week32/ rather than http://www.uspto.gov/web/patents/patog/week32/.
Information on each patent may additionally be found in the comprehensive, searchable patent full-text, full-page image, and bibliographic databases, which are updated for each weekly issue and accessible directly from the home page of the USPTO Web site.
