Welcome to the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development and the SDHB Family Screening.

Paragangliomas are rare tumors in the adrenal gland (also called pheochromocytoma), in the chest and abdomen outside the adrenal gland in the head and neck (Also called glomustumors). Mutations of the SDHB gene may cause paragangliomas. The risk of developing a paraganglioma in carriers of an SDHB mutation is unknown, however. This questionnaire is part of a screening for paragangliomas.
