The TERO website is here for our tribal
members.
The Sisseton-Wahpeton Tribal Employment Rights Office
is in the process of developing our website so that we may better
serve the Sisseton- Wahpeton Oyate Community.

What
T.E.R.O. Does for you.T
Each individual tribal member must be responsible in order for our
program to be a success.
To establish the TERO program's credibility to the employers and make
it work each individual placed through the TERO program must make
every
effort to be a success, so employers respect the TERO program and the tribal
members it places with them.
This means good work habits, showing up on time, calling in when you can't
show up. No excess absence or tardiness. Being dependable, setting a good
example and being qualified for the job. Using the TERO counseling services
if problems arise. Every time an employer sees a successful tribal member
on his project, it makes it easier for those who come after you.
Don't abuse discrimination complaints, but do let the TERO Office know of
any valid questions or concerns you have regarding an employers actions.
Even if you cannot determine discrimination, but feel uncomfortable, legal
discrimination may exist which warrants an investigation..
