Louisiana Believes is built on the premise that all children can achieve high expectations for learning and that those closest to children – parents and teachers – know better than government how to help students achieve those expectations.

Welcome!

Welcome to the Louisiana Transition Services website. We are excited to launch a new website with lots of new information to better serve teachers, students, parents, and agencies. The department has worked tirelessly with teachers, transition coordinators, adult service providers and parents in an effort to develop a tool that would enable us to provide better transition services to students. It is our hope that the website will serve as a transition guide that will help us improve post-school outcomes for students with disabilities in Louisiana.
