PNNL's Voluntary Protection Program
In 2001 Pacific Northwest National Laboratory achieved the highest level of Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) recognition by being awarded STAR status for implementation of an excellent safety and health program through:
- management leadership
- employee involvement
- worksite analysis
- hazard prevention and control
- safety and health training.
For over a decade, the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) has enhanced the partnership between management and staff through a mutual commitment to strengthening a culture of operational excellence.
