2007 Honorees: January 12, 2007 On January 12, 2007, Secretary of the State Susan Bysiewicz led a Public Service Award ceremony to recognize over 950 Election Day poll workers from the 3rd Congressional District who have five or more years of experience. The recognition program took place at Quinnipiac College in Hamden. Election Day moderators, checkers, machine tenders, machine mechanics, and others were honored at the event. ------------------------------------------------- January 7, 2007 On January 7, 2007, Secretary of the State Susan Bysiewicz honored over 900 Election Day poll workers from the 2nd Congressional District who have five or more years of experience. The event was held at the Clinton Town Hall. ------------------------------------------------- 2006 Honorees: December 19, 2006 Secretary of the State Susan Bysiewicz honored 970 Election Day poll workers from the 5th Congressional District with five or more years of experience.
