Fort Riley, "Home of the Big Red One" (1st Infantry Division), is known for its excellent training, abundant recreational opportunities, rich history, and tremendous relations with surrounding communities.

The www.riley.army.mil website is intended to provide value-added information about the 1st Infantry Division and Fort Riley, its units, and the Central Flint Hills Region to Soldiers, Family members, the Army, and the public. In addition, the website is intended to provide information on installation services, communicate our quality of life, assist in conducting installation business, and promote Fort Riley as an excellent installation.

All recreation users of Fort Riley should take note that Maneuver Areas A, B, D, E, H, K, L, M, O and P are scheduled to be closed to ALL recreational activities and access November 14 - 22 and November 28 thru December 09 due to military training occurring during those periods. 


The dates they are closed have the potential to be extended. 


No recreational access will be granted to the closed areas and violators will be prosecuted. 


On any days during those periods that Maneuver Areas C, F, and I are open, those areas will only be accessible by walk-in traffic from adjacent County roads.


In emergency utility service situations, such as power outages, please contact the Fort Riley Public Works Service Desk at (785)239-0900 to report the problem.  You may also call your neighborhood office and the staff will report the outage for you.  For your neighborhood office phone number, visit riley.corviasmilitaryliving.com.  For tips on how to prepare and cope with a power outage, visit www.acsim.army.mil.
