Q. Why did I receive a 1099-Misc form?

A. The State of Delaware issues 1099-Misc informational reporting forms to individuals and companies that have provided a service to the State of Delaware and are non-State of Delaware employees. If a company is incorporated, a 1099-Misc is not usually issued. Exceptions are corporations that provide legal or medical services. Each payment a recipient received is listed on the form. If you have a question regarding any of the payments, contact the agency that issued the payment. The issuing agency name and phone number are listed on each line.


Q. I performed work for the State of Delaware. Why did I not receive a 1099?

A. You must have received payments totaling at least $600 for the calendar year for a 1099 to be issued. If you believe you met the $600 threshold, your tax status on file may be incorrect. Contact the Division of Accounting's toll free 1099 Helpline at (855)846-7524.

Q. How can I get a copy of my W-2?

A. http://www.employeeselfservice.omb.delaware.gov/* is the State of Delaware's secure Employee Self-Service website. As a State of Delaware employee, you have secure access to view and print a copy of your W-2. Contact your Organization HR/Payroll Officer for assistance with any W-2 questions.


Q. Where can I locate my pay information?

A. ePay* is the State of Delaware's secure online pay information system. As a State of Delaware employee, you have been given secure access to view and print your current and past pay information.


Q. How do I verify an individual's employment?

A. Mail your request to the employee's Organization Human Resource Office.

Q. How do I change my vendor profile information?

A. You can change your vendor information by submitting a new W-9 form. Check the change profile option on the top of the form.


Q. How long will it take to process my W-9?

Q. As a state employee, how do I get a vendor ID for reimbursement?

Q. How do I update the point of contact listed on a previously submitted W-9?

A. You have to submit a new W-9 and select the change profile option on the top of the form.
