Costa Mesa Sanitary District (CMSD) provides curbside trash collection and sewer services to residents in the city of Costa Mesa, portions of Newport Beach and unincorporated sections of Orange County. CMSD has received several awards, most notably the District of Distinction Accreditation by the Special District Leadership Foundation, one of the most prestigious local government awards in the state of California.

On Monday, November 14, 2016, CMSD Headquarters moved to:
290 Paularino Avenue, Costa Mesa, CA 92626.

Our hours will remain the same:
Monday – Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Friday 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m

CMSD Headquarters will be closed at 12:00 pm (noon) on November 23 and all day on November 24 and 25 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. No trash service will occur on Thanksgiving Day, November 24, and trash services will be delayed by one day following the holiday.
