The Division of Licensing and Protection (DLP) ensures that individuals are encouraged to choose a lifestyle that preserves individuality, dignity, autonomy and self-determination. The Survey & Certification programs assure the safety and well-being of elders and people with disabilities through a system of licensing and protective services that leverage education, assistance, prevention, sanctions, empowerment and promotion of positive change.
