Oklahoma Digital Prairie: Documents, Images and Information 
Access thousands of state government publications and documents that were available only through official Oklahoma state agency websites beginning in November 2006. Also included are digitized versions of other selected state print publications dating back to 1978. For pre-1978 publications, please check the Resources about Oklahoma digital collection.
Since the collection may include older documents that have since been superseded, visitors are urged to always refer to the most recent version of a document or publication for current information.

In May 2011, Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin signed into law the Transparency, Accountability and Innovation in Oklahoma State Government 2.0 Act of 2011 (HB 1086) into law. This measure contained numerous initiatives aimed at providing greater access to information for citizens, including the Oklahoma State Government Open Documents Initiative.
The initiative requires the State of Oklahoma Chief Information Officer (CIO) to develop and maintain an online web presence at Documents.OK.Gov.
State of Oklahoma agencies are required to submit to this site all publications otherwise required by law to be submitted to either the Publications Clearinghouse, the Governor, the Speaker of the House of Representatives or the Speaker Pro Tempore of the Senate. After submission, the documents are publicly available and searchable.
The collection of State of Oklahoma government documents and publications as prescribed in this statute – Documents.OK.gov – are being made available through a partnership between the Office of Management and Enterprise Services – Information Services Division and the Oklahoma Department of Libraries Publications Clearinghouse.

The Oklahoma Electronic and Information Technology (EITA) Act requires that Oklahoma state agencies provide electronic and information technology products that are accessible to people with disabilities.
