Foreign Affairs Network
Welcome to FAN.gov, the official portal for the Foreign Affairs Network (FAN). The FAN will enable the Department of State (DoS) to better deliver services to all current and potential DoS customers through the creation of secure enclaves outside of the existing OpenNet. These enclaves will host services for members of the foreign affairs community, to include eligible family members (EFM) and other governmental agencies (OGA), which will be accessible from any Internet-connected network. The FAN is sponsored by the Office of the Chief Architect (OCA), and the design of the FAN will be developed and vetted through several proof of concepts coordinated by OCA and with the approval of the CIO.
Connect.Gov Authentication
FAN.gov now supports authentication via a level of assurance (LOA) 1 credential (e.g., Google or PayPal account), leveraging Connect.Gov. You will be presented with your custom service catalog, based on your authentication LOA.
New User Registration
If you do not already have a FAN.gov portal account, please register. Only DoS and OGA employees may register. If you are an Eligible Family Member (EFM), you will need to be sponsored by a DoS or OGA employee.
