Hispanic Missourians provide a diverse and culturally important contribution to our state and play an increasingly important role in our communities, our economy and our state government. Between 1990 and 2000, the Hispanic population in Missouri has increased by 92 percent, and with that increase has come increased prosperity and economic opportunity.
Missouri is committed to working with Hispanic leaders and the communities they represent, to provide an environment with all the benefits and opportunities this state has to offer. Through the hard work of the Hispanic Business, Trade and Culture Commission, Missouri will continue to work with Hispanic communities to improve the lives of all Missourians. Hispanic Missourians have contributed much to Missouri in the past, and as their numbers grow, their contributions will only increase.
