Kansas Energy Report
The Kansas Energy Report, formerly called the Kansas Energy Plan, contains the energy policy recommendations developed annually by the Kansas Energy Council (KEC) as well as background information on related energy topics.
Because the KEC focused on just a few topics and issues each year (see planning schedule), the Kansas Energy Report can be viewed as a work in progress. The 2007, 2008, and 2009 versions contain the recommendations developed during the 2006, 2007, and 2008 planning cycles, respectively.

The outline below contains links to the recommendations and related background information developed from 2006 to 2008, as well as "placeholders" for future development. (The Council was dissolved on December 31, 2008, in Executive Order 08-13).
Sections indicated with boldface type were developed from 2006 to 2008 and were embodied, respectively, in the 2007, 2008, and 2009 versions of the Kansas Energy Report.
