Mission Statement

The Navajo Area Agency on Aging (NAAA) ensures that elders living on the Navajo Nation receive all available benefits and services to which they are entitled, and that these services are provided in a manner which preserves their dignity, self respect and cultural identity.

Navajo Nation Council on Aging (NNCOA)

The NNCOA assists in carrying out the Navajo Area Agency on Aging (NAAA) mission to develop and coordinate community-based services for all Navajo elders in the Navajo Nation planning and service area. The NNCOA is comprised of 10 Navajo elderly persons selected from local senior councils.
