Welcome to the
Services Accountability Improvement System (SAIS)
This web page is the entryway to the Services Accountability Improvement System
(SAIS), a service of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration
(SAMHSA).
SAIS is intended for use by the Center for Substance Abuse Treatment's (CSAT's)
Discretionary Services and Best Practices grantees, and by SAMHSA and CSAT staff.
SAIS was developed as part of the effort mandated by the Government Performance
and Results Act (GPRA) of 1993. GPRA is intended to increase program effectiveness
and public accountability by promoting a focus on results, service quality, and
customer satisfaction.
