8/18/2011 CAMP DARBY, Italy- During the last half decade Camp Darby community members looked forward to the occasional visit of a dentist from another installation. And after much grinding and gnashing of the teeth, Camp Darby finally has a full time dental team stationed here.

“I am eager to tackle the challenge that Camp Darby represents,” said Army Capt.  Kenneth Hussey, the new Camp Darby dentist. “I was asked by my commander whether or not I wanted to come down here; so I chose it with the intent of knowing that somebody hadn’t been down here for a while and it was gonna be kind of starting from square one.”

Hussey received his Doctorate in Dental surgery from University of Southern California. As he cleans out a filing system from 2006, he asks that people be patient.

“The new full-time dental team is working hard to get things in order and moving smoothly to provide better service to the community,” said Hussey.

Pfc. Michael Robinson, a dental assistant, is also new to the dental team. Contact the dental reception desk to make your appointment by calling DSN 633-7461.
