Empowering the mental wellness of children, youth and their families

Welcome to Youth Empowerment Services

Welcome to the Youth Empowerment Services (YES) website. Here you will find information on the ongoing collaborative effort to implement a new system of care for Idaho children and youth with Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED). The Children’s Mental Health Reform (CMHR) Project is being authorized by the Department of Health & Welfare to accomplish this work.
This website will continue to grow as the Project continues, and will contain helpful information for children and families, community stakeholders, treatment providers, and anyone who would like to participate in reforming Idaho’s system of care for providing children's mental health services. Idaho’s new system of care will be:
  • family-driven,
  • community-based,
  • coordinated, and
  • comprehensive.
