Hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers meeting a requirements threshold are required by state law and regulation to report data on selected HAIs for central line-associated bloodstream (CLAB) infections and surgical site infections (SSIs). 	MHIRS Main Directory	This site has been developed as a service for healthcare providers to provide information on the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) reporting requirements for healthcare-associated infections (HAIs). With the passage of the Missouri Nosocomial Infection Control Act of 2004, hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers are required to report healthcare-associated infections to the DHSS. (More...)
