Established in 1962, the Redstone Scientific Information Center (RSIC) is the technical library serving Redstone Arsenal and Marshall Space Flight Center.

Redstone Scientific Information Center's library catalog lets you search over 450,000 books, journals, and government technical reports, with emphasis in aeronautics, aerospace engineering, and rocketry. RSIC also has access to thousands of electronic journal articles and books through our online subscriptions.

Access to RSIC resources requires registration. Please note that RSIC registration is open only to United States Government personnel and contractors located at Redstone Arsenal and Marshall Space Flight Center, or located in the Huntsville, Alabama region. RSIC does not provide or assist with access to Redstone Arsenal.

New E-resources — SAE Mobilus

RSIC has added to our SAE Mobilus subscription (formerly SAE Digital Library). We now offer full text access to SAE Technical Papers from 1906-present. (Please note that our subscription only includes Technical Papers; we do not have access to SAE standards.)

New E-resources — Knovel

RSIC has added new collections to our Knovel subscription. We now offer access to the Polymer Matrix Composites Database and these electronic book collections: Manufacturing Engineering; Software Engineering; Composites; and Nondestructive Testing and Evaluation. You can access these by logging into Knovel using the link below, then click on the Browse link at the top of the Knovel welcome page.

New E-resources — CRC ENVIROnetBASE

RSIC's CRC subscription now provides access to ENVIROnetBASE. This collection includes electronic books in the following subjects: Earth Science; Ecology; Environmental Chemistry; Environmental Engineering; Environmental Modeling and Systems Analysis; Geochemistry; GIS & Mapping; Remote Sensing.
